The Challenge
The Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) is internationally recognized as one of the premier massage schools in the U.S. As a non-profit, the school depends on it’s website to market the school successfully without exhausting the school’s marketing & advertising budget. BCMT was looking for a way to reach potential students, create awareness of the school clinic, keep in touch with alumni and advertise their various degree programs. They wanted to stay far away from the “earthy” look of their competitors, and brand themselves as a professional school. Their current website was not giving users the impression they were looking for. With a tight budget, they wanted to make sure the website was optimized to compete for the most competitive massage school search terms.

ClearPixelDesign created a new brand for BCMT that could be incorporated in all BCMT marketing materials. The new website was re-organized with drop-down navigation that made navigating the site easier for users with different needs. A set of email marketing templates were created that allowed BCMT to stay in touch with four different sets of customers (potential degree students, continuing education students, alumni and student clinic clients). A content management system was set-up that allows BCMT employees to update the site easily from a remote location. The website was also optimized and now shows up at the top of the major search engine listings for highly competitive keyword phrases.
FINE FURNISHINGS SHOWS
Providence, Rhode Island
The Challenge
The Fine Furnishings & Fine Craft Shows present marketplaces for handcrafted furniture, fine craft, accessories and original art. They currently host two shows a year, one in Providence and one in Milwaukee. Fine Furnishings needed a website re-design to use in attracting both exhibitors and attendees for their shows. They also needed custom programming for an exhibitor listing on their website where visitors could find out more about the shows’ exhibitors. Furthermore, they were looking to send out monthly emails to both attendees and exhibitors.

ClearPixelDesign re-designed the Fine Furnishings website and incorporated an easy to-use custom programming feature that allows exhibitors to quickly create their own profiles on the website. This reduces the amount of time required for Fine Furnishings to update their website each year. Our re-design also featured photo galleries for each show with downloadable high-resolution photos needed by press and media contacts. Separate email templates were created for attendees and exhibitors that allows Fine Furnishings to keep in touch with both groups.
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY CHAMBER & TOURISM BUREAU
Idaho Springs, Colorado
The Challenge
The purpose of the Chamber and Tourism Bureau of Clear Creek County (CTB) is to improve the economic climate within Clear Creek County. Top goals of the organization include promoting tourism and business development in the area, as well as persuading local businesses to become a member of the CTB. Clear Creek’s old website offered little information about the organization, the navigational structure was confusing to users and the design was out-of-date. The CTB was looking for a new website that would showcase Clear Creek County as a beautiful and diverse section of Colorado and that would showcase all that their organization had to offer, both to visitors and business owners in the area.

ClearPixelDesign created a new website for Clear Creek County that would offer a solution to all their problems. We also integrated custom programming for their calendar of events and job positing sections. The new website makes it easy for users to find the information they are looking for.
